It Is Your
Morning Time!
Pursuing God Persistently Leads to God’s Blessings
Often times when we have gone through what we think are many hard afflictions, or are
going through what seems to be a constant barrage of events; we begin to faint in our
minds, or a thought of giving up may creep in.  Yet, our spirit man cries out to the flesh,
Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me, bless His holy name (PS. 103:1).

The Spirit of Leadership
There is a hidden leader in all of us.  Leaders must be prepared. The underlying
motivation for leadership is the ambition to be a leader.  Paul wrote Timothy in 1 Timothy
3:1. If anyone sets his heart on being an overseer, he desires a noble task.  Paul here is
saying that the ambition for leadership is good.  Ambitions such as lust for power and
greed have to be guarded against. But ambition motivated by the desire to serve is
honorable. The key to true leadership is not self-serving but selfless service.  Jeremiah
told Barach in Jeremiah 45:5 should you then seek great things for yourself?  Seek them
not. Jeremiah was questioning Barach’s condition of his heart. If your heart is not toward
being a servant and is toward other things such as reward, respect,  power, etc. this will
lead to self-destruction and the destruction of others. Matthew 12:34 makes it clear about
the condition of the heart.  One is not qualified to give orders until he can receive them.

The Servant Leader
Webster defines serving as attending to, to answer the needs of to be of use.  Christ
wants us to attend to answer the needs of, and be of use in this world. In order to serve
one must first submit.  One cannot serve if they do not respect those to whom they are
appointed. Servant Leadership is the discovery of one’s purpose, gift, and talents and the
commitment to give them in service to mankind; being prepared to serve one’s gift to the
world at every opportunity for the betterment of humankind. It is self-distribution to your
generation and it is the pursuit of an inherent vision in order to serve others.

Why Bring Angela Curtis to Your Organization
Angela Curtis, distinguished author, dynamic personal coach, social visionary, and
celebrated keynote speaker, knows that many people feel as though they're living a life
scripted or dictated by others. They long to break out of their self-imposed limitations and
lead their own lives, but they lack the courage and confidence to do so.

Her book From Mourning to Morning: Putting on the Garment of Praise ($9.99,
paperback, 1-60034-683-9) addresses these very issues!

Angela always engages, entertains, challenges and creates a memorable experience that
inspires the crowds. She focuses on helping people achieve success by improving their
quality of life. An inspirational speaker or keynote speaker is easy to find, but a
motivational speaker that can connect with the heart and soul of her audiences by sharing
her own life story and deliver a motivational message with substance and a unique style is
rare. That's why many event planners have continued to request Angela to sign and
discuss her new book.
